Marks on new toilet paper…?

Really freaked out by the fact that I’ve pulled a new toilet roll from a Tesco pack and it has red marks on it.

I have contacted Tesco to complain.

Stressed that it could be blood… Or is it more likely to be dye from the manufacturing process?!

I currently have a real phobia of contamination and this has had me catastrophising like mad 🤯

It’ll be the dye used to mark the end of a run and needing to change a paper roll - like you see at the end of a till roll.
if you look at you tube you’ll see videos of them making stuff like loo roll etc and it’s an automatic machine process with very very little human contact in the process.

I had the same thing (but think it was Asda loo paper) I just assumed it was part of the manufacturing process.

Will be dye of some sort.
