Pains after sex?

Does anyone else get period type pain for a few days after sex with bloating? It could be down to being too rough I guess but it's so strange, does feel like I've been hammered in my cervix (tmi sorry) lol but it really isn't fun...

Will also say I had a vaginal scan earlier this year for bad period pains and everything was normal there

Maybe speak to your GP.

Any pain after sex should be investigated by your GP.

Thanks for responding, I didn't think it was anything sinister as I had a scan earlier this year for potential issues due to bad period pains, I haven't had sex in a really long time so I can't remember if this is normal for me or not and not even sure if it's the sex that caused it as it's been a good 4 days now since and still have these weird period cramps, not due on either

I have a retroverted uterus and can sometimes feel strange cramps for a few days after sex too. Have to be careful with positions etc.

Oh! Hmm, I think I would have been told as I had a scan they said my reproductive system looked healthy and they couldn't visually see a cause for my bad period pains, I'm wondering if these cramps were even caused by sex as it's also going down my thighs (I get this in the middle of month)
