Anyone good at identifying weird finger bumps?

2, possibly related issues.

  1. Finger starts to hurt, then get a swelling, which then comes to a kind of under the skin blister, which gradually expands, becomes v painful and hard, then dissolves. In the pic it looks like it's kind of a blood blister.
  2. Finger joints get swellings on them- like other picture. No warning- wake up and they're there. Currently have them on about 3 fingers. V painful.

Had them last winter, had x rays for osteoarthritis, sent pictures to doc and basically got told it could be menopause (in 43, so that's the answer to everything) but other than that, I'm a medical mystery. I have psoriasis and reynauds, so could be linked to that. Never had tbf lumps before last winter though.

Looks a little like pomphlox.
I get them on my feet when I'm stressed out/run down.
Very painful until they 'burst'.
I actually get them on the outside of my nostrils too for some reason (have them there now).
Tea tree helps but I've yet to prevent them completely...although not had a flare up on my feet for some time.

Just had a Google. It's possible, although I don't get any external bursting. I do get itching though, which made me think of chilblains. I also get sausage fingers.
