dh has enlarged testicle any one had similar problem??

my dh has recently had an enlarged testicle, its basically twice as large as the other one, he is going to see a urologist on monday but ofcourse we are both scared of the outcome, he is only 34 has anyone had any similar experience? your comments would be gratefully received

my dp has a cyst on one testicle so it's bigger than the other. no intervention required, just need to keep an eye on it (or more likely a hand...)

thanks for replying, we are just so worried, it is getting so uncomfortable and getting larger week by week now and is having problems wearing anything but shorts!! did your dp see a urologist? (not sure i have spelt that right

My dh had testicular cancer, around 14 years ago. Testicular cancer is the most treatable of all cancers.

If the swelling happened suddenly and is ver marked, it could well be caused by something much less worrying, like a build up of fluid, or a hernia.

And even if it is cancer it is very, very, very treatable

Mine had. His tecsticle was twisted. it swelled up & hurt like hell.

He ended up getting it removed.

But you'd think if this is what was wrong with your dh, the doc would have spotted it by now. although it wasn't the doc that spotted dh's, he thought it was his appendix Dh ended up driving to A&E himself & being rushed into theatre.
