Can a cold make your period come early?

Sorry for asking such a dumb question i have had slight stomach cramps the sort you get the day before your period is due for the last few days but i'm not due on til the 4th feb. I've also had cold symptoms and was wondering if a cold could make your period come early?

Cold could make your period early -physical illness or stress can upset normal cycle. Or could be something unrelated. Maybe your illness has also upset your stomach/bowel??

Thanks for the reply i'm only just having periods again after being off the depo for a year so they are likely to be all over the place i guess.

Snap! Due on the 4th, cold started yesterday and period today. Oh joy !

10 days early, sure it's stress, tons to do but no idea where to start!
