Period pain from hell but not due on

My periods have been regular ever since they started at age 10.

But I'm in agony today and I'm not due on. Not for another 2 weeks

Can ovulation pain be this painful? I remember the TTC days and it was never like this

Could it be ovulation pain? I could swear I'm about to come on but my cycles are exactly ever 30-31 days. And I had a period only 15 days ago (usually ovulate around day 18)

Yes it can. Mine is horrendous and so much worst then period pain - I don’t think you should accept it as normal though. I imagine mine is cystic.

I'd get it checked out. Could be ovulation but sounds a bit extreme.
