I had acute cholecystitis in May and scans showed infection and gallstones. It wasnt agony, it was an unrelenting ache that drained me as the day went on and would not go away no matter how I sat or laid. Since then I have had two very short episodes that were treated with buscapan and painkillers and were always triggered my chips.
Last night out of the blue I felt a stitch like pain in my side where my gallbladder is but in my middle upper abdomen.
Its unrelenting. painkillers arent touching it.
I am not 100% convinced its the gallbladder as its a sharp pain and it hurts to take a deep breath in. Also no shoulder pain like before.
No other symptoms.
Any clue while I wait for a GP to tell me to go sit in urgent care for 637 hours?
