48hr sickness policy at school for those with d&v

Has been turned into 24 hours, do other schools do this? Seems a ridiculous change and bound to spread the germs around the class/school faster to me.

48 hours still at ours.
One child was sent home with D and was brought back the next day. Sent home with another bout in the pm. The following day, 7 children were off.
Should definitely be 48 hours in my opinion.

It’s 48hrs at my school, but no one polices it. Parents just don’t admit to D&V.

48 hours at all 3 of the current schools my children go to. But tbh I some circumstances I wouldn't mind it being 24 hours.

My DC school doesn't have a policy at all! DD was sick at school one day (not a bug, I think a chemical smell in science made her sick) I kept her off the next day knowing that at her previous 2 schools the 48 hour rule applied. School phoned to ask where she was, and said she could come in

48 hours at ours. I would complain about it being cut to 24 hours. It isn't fair on the students or staff.
