Little skin growth

I've got this tiny little lump that has appeared at the very top of my arm, if anyone can see it on the picture? Just wondering if it's something I need to get checked. I've never had anything like it before. It's not itchy or anything. I have been very badly sunburned in that area as a child before.

It's always good to get any new skin growths checked out.

Not to frighten you but this looks very similar to the bcc, basel cell carcinoma I had removed recently. I was told it's slow growing and very treatable. I'd contact your GP if I was you to be on the safe side.

I was going to say BCC too. I’ve just had one removed from my back. They’re incredibly common and incredibly slow growing. They’re also basically never invasive or a long term health problem, but would still need removing so I’d go and get it looked at. Mine grew incredibly slowly for a number of years and it wasn’t rushed through even when they suspected BCC because they were particularly worried, so I would try not to stress but definitely get it checked.

Thank you both. I'm a bit shocked that it might actually be something! Obviously I suspected it was odd or I wouldn't have posted but blimey! I'll take it to the doctor next week. Thanks

It seems to be going a bit more red now!

Looks like a BCC. As others have said, very slow growing and normally harmless, but worth having removed.

I haven't managed to see a doctor about this yet, it seems to be changing quite rapidly. It's gone all sort of bumpy with little red pinpricks and even slightly oozy? Is this usual? It's only been just over a week since I noticed it. Hard to get a decent picture.
