alternative treatments for sinusitus

The consultnt has told me today that after 2 operations and yrs spent on sprays that I just have to live with it as theres no more he can do.

I was wondering if anyone has tried reflexology or accupuncture or similar which has helped them?

BIL had reflexology after trying everything the ENT bods had to offer and said he was amazed how well it worked.

This is going to sound really strange but I used to suffer from horrendous sinusitis and my mum told me to sniff 'beetroot juice' up through my nose (i know, I know !)

I wasn't exactly sure what she meant so tried it with the liquid you get in jars of pickled beetroot - ie vinegar!

Well, obviously that's not what she meant, It was acually supposed to be the juice of a beetroot. Now don't ask me the whys and hows but I did it and it worked!!!

Might be worth a shot if you're desperate?? And a lot cheaper than reflexology!
