4 day headache in teenager

Last week my 13 yr old dd had tonsilitis.
It was really nasty and she slept and slept for about 3 days (very unlike her). She has taken her antibiotics and her swelling and nasty throat have gone.

However, she has had a headache since Friday and keeps asking for pain killers which I am giving sparing ly. I have encouarged her to drink lots of water and sleep but still she has a headache.

I kept her off school again today and she has slept for about 2 hours after we had a walk through the park for an hour (I thought some clean air would do her good).

She had shingles about a month agao and wondered if all of this is connected?

Is it worth taking her back to quacks again?

Im also worried about the amount of time she has had off of school, especailly as she had time off when she had Shingles. Im tempted to send her in with pain killers and see how she goes. Or is that just stupid?

Thanks for reading -sorry its so long....

It could be a post viral thing which does leave you exhausted.I would give her ibuprofen and let her sleep and stay home for a few more days. She sounds really knackered!
