Can the GP cancel my referral?

Ive recently developed a couple of concerning moles and a lesion on my face. GP was not concerned but referred me for peace of mind, however the wait was long and so I saw a private derm for an check up.

The check up was somewhat reassuring, but I was not totally satisfied with the check up as some areas were missed and overall it felt a bit rushed.

The private dermatologist has emailed me my letter confirming what we discussed at my appt etc, but also copied in my GP surgery.

I am hoping this does not give my GP the go ahead to cancel my NHS referral?

Why don't you tell the private doctor that you weren't happy with their examination rather than waiting months for an NHS appointment...you paid for the original service so your discussion should be with them
