Is this part of the same bug or a new one?

About 12 days ago I developed a cold (tested more than once for covid but always negative). I was still blowing my nose Thursday but things seemed to have cleared up yesterday.

on Thursday a careless colleague was sneezing all over the office without even attempting to cover her mouth. I moved towards the window or out when I could but on one occasion she turned her head behind her (where I happened to be sat). I got up and went out immediately but she’d already sneezed by this point (I was about a metre away.) I was hoping she had the same bug that’s been going round the office and I’ve already had.

I was sneezing a bit last night and a couple of times today, plus today, I’ve woken up today with a stuffy nose that’s running and I’m having to blow frequently.

Is this another virus or still part of the same one? I’ve never known a runny nose at the end of a cold, only the beginning.

I have minor surgery next week and need to be well for it. 😬

Any tips? I’m maxed out on vitamin D and multivitamins. What else can I to make sure I’m well asap? 🤞🏼
