I found a dark red spot under my armpit

A few weeks ago I found a red spot under my armpit bit I thought nothing of it. I thought it would go away. I was getting ready today and I noticed its still there.

I took a closer look. Its dark red and looks and feels like a raised mole. I don't wear underwires in my bras because they tend to dig into me so it's not caused mmby underwire.

Just wondering if it's anything to worry about or should I get it checked out.

Could it be a skin tag? Areas like armpits are prone to them

Could it be cherry angioma?

If it worries you it’s a good enough reason to see the GP sooner rather than later. This way you’ll avoid anxiety and you’ll either have no cause to worry or you’ll have treatment. I’m learning to do this as I used to spend agonising weeks overthinking.

Have you a photo op or could also be a pigmented naevus
