Hi I'm not asking for a diagnosis but I need to take my prescription meds but I need to eat beforehand, the trouble is I can't face eating anything and I can't keep anything down anyway, I can't seem to find any answers online, so I just thought I would ask if anyone had any tips? Thanks

Could you possibly drink ? When DS has been in this situation, I've made him a smoothie and that's stayed down long enough to take meds.

Sorry you're going through this OP - best of luck to you.

I have been sipping water and my hubby is going to pop out for Lucozade soon, I honestly can't keep anything down, I have a splitting head but can't take meds as my stomach hasn't been lined and if I take them without food I'll bring them up again, but if I eat something I'll bring that up too, I feel dreadful, and you can't get covid tests anymore either

Sounds stupid but do you need the meds? Can you just sleep whatever this is off without taking your medication?

I'm on meds for my osteoarthritis which I take every day, but right now I'd settle for not feeling/being sick and for my headache to go

Can you leave it a few hours, sickness bugs tend to be fairly short lived? And then try dry toast?
If you really want a Covid test you can buy them from pharmacies.

I've felt like this since Sunday night, getting a GP appointment is impossible, I've tried, I just wanted to have a phone consultation but aa soon as the lines opened at 8am a message popped up saying there are no appointments

Could be flu. Dd had a bug v similar last week: 111 said it was probably flu as there's a lot of it going around. I hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like a bug, where your gut can't handle anything. I had one for two full days, horrendous, couldn't eat. Your gut's trying to heal your body, it's part of your immune system. Nothing anyone can do, your body's trying to do the work. Rest, you won't die without the osteoarthritis meds will you?
