Why isn't this thrush going away?

Early this week, I started to get all the symptoms of thrush. I had it many years ago, so was familiar with the symptoms.

I went to the chemist & picked up an oral tablet, which claimed to clear up symptoms within 2 days, but 3 days later there is little improvement.
It is really starting to drag me down now.

Is it time to make an appointment with my GP, or should I give it another couple of days to see if the treatment kicks in?

Anyone else experienced similar?

Good luck.I've had it since Christmas Eve & am on my 3rd lot of tratment.For the record,my GP said over the counter stuff wasn't that effective & prescribed a 3 day course of pessaries.I'm really hoping these will work.
