Does anyone get nausea or pregnancy like symptoms just before their period begins?

Its been happening to me for a few months now and it can be frightening as I am sometimes almost convinced I am pregnant!!

I am 42 years old so maybe its related to the menopause, but I am to young to have any HRT or similar treatment, has anyone got any advice on what herbal remedies are available or any other advice.

TIA

Yes, it happens to me. Sometimes for a few days before with hot flushes, spots (which i have never had before) sickness, tiredness and i get very fine, blonde facial hair..that then quickly disappears after a day or two. I've had this for nearly a year now and it seems to be getting worse (spots anyway).

I am thinking hormone levels. I plan to visit the doctor soon.

Hope you get yours sorted.

Yes me! Could be just because we are trying to concieve so I notice every little thing! I feel queasy the week before my period arrives and incredibly tired...

I've been trying Evening Primrose Oil to help with the symptoms, apparently it is supposed to help PMS.
