Non-stop toothache - antibiotics/pregnant

Help - I've been experiencing an awful toothache since the weekend - had a dentist appointment on Tuesday morning and was diagnosed with a tooth infection on a previously treated tooth (root canal and crown already in place)

Given amoxicillin for 5 day course - completed 2 full days with no effect so far. Have just taken tablet 1 of day 3. I'm 22 weeks pregnant so I've been taken paracetamol as per instructions to numb pain but nothing works and I'm going out of my mind!

Is there anything else I can do? This is my third night lying awake with it and a hot water bottle stuck to my face. I gargle with salt water, I bought clove oil - aside from the hot water bottle there is no relief
.
I go abroad on holiday on Sunday and I'm terrified this won't subside in time!

Can you use orajel when pregnant? I've just had the most horrific tooth infection too and antibiotics took 3 or 4 days to really take the pain away with the pain increasing on day 3 significantly.
I think the issue is that things you apply to the tooth and area don't sink in far enough to numb the pain. Orajel still helped me quite well until I got to the dentist.
Really hope you feel better soon, there's nothing worse than toothache!
