[PIC inc] Worried it's a melanoma

I have a huge mole on the top of my head. It looks disgusting.

I have had a referral to a skin lesion clinic but worried how long it may take to find out if the mole is dangerous or not. No matter what I will get it removed but can't help but worry

I’m not medically trained but that looks more like a wart to me x

How long have you had it for? I’ve had melanoma and I think there are other things it could be.Dermatologist will be able to give you a good idea once you get seen at a clinic and it’s looked at under a dermascope.

I've had it since I was a kid at least 20 years but it's got bigger over the last few years.
