Calling all vaccine experts! I had a patch test 20 years ago that identified an allergy to potassium chloride after a few incidences of my lips swelling up like a cartoon.
I have had flu jabs for the past 3 years with no issue but the formula for over 65s has changed and includes KCl for this year. My surgery nurse is trying to find out options but is pretty clueless (no fault of hers it's an odd thing to come up)
Do any of you have any ideas about alternatives? I can't be the only person with this allergy. I thought I might push for a new patch test in case my body has changed in the intervening 20 odd years. But opinions/options very welcome.
