Sounds like it. Get seen tomorrow, I needed antibiotics.

Windinthepillows · 19/09/2022 18:59

Any tooth issues on that side?

RejectedFleece · 19/09/2022 19:58

No tooth issues.

I had this and it was shingles in my ear! Try see a GP as you may need antivirals

RejectedFleece · 20/09/2022 10:52

I did wonder about shingles, but I have no rash so far.

I get them regular, last time I went nurse recommend OTC med earcalm.
It might be worth trying that first if you are gonna struggle getting an appointment.

@RejectedFleece i didn’t have a rash either, I was very shocked when they said shingles!

RejectedFleece · 20/09/2022 14:02

@RejectedFleece yes and the side of my forehead. They said the vesicles were inside my ear which is why I couldn’t see them. I did end up with a complication called Ramsey Hunt syndrome which wasn’t nice, but I recovered :)
