Noticed DS has red lips tonight so put some Vaseline on before bed.
Googled and first thing that came up was Kawasaki disease in children so now I'm freaking out and I shouldn't have googled because I have severe health anxiety.
He had Covid 2 weeks ago so I'm worrying myself this is Kawasaki disease.
He hasn't got a temp or rash just red lips.
Can someone offer any advice please?
Could Kawasaki start with the red lips before a prolonged fever and rash etc?
I'm so worried.

OP, you are posting to get reassurance. That is not the best way to deal with anxiety. The problem here is you googling and freaking out now, not the fact that he has red lips. Your son is fine. If he is ill, he will develop more symptoms and you can then get him the care he needs. Stop googling and seeking reassurance online, this just feeds the idea that your worries are reasonable. They're not.

I hope you manage to get some sleep

Red lips are dry or dehydrated, that's it. If he had something serious there'd be more then just that. The fact you googled when he just has red lips means your health anxiety is having a very big, negative impact on your life. You need to see your GP, talk about finding a way to reduce the impact your anxiety is having on your life. You might need medication or a higher dose if already on, a referral for something like CBT or ACT. I know it can take a long time but the anxiety isn't going to magically get better without some support and actively addressing it. Meanwhile if you can't sleep do what you can to distract your mind, I find running or scrubbing things uses up some of the adrenaline from panic, other times reading or watching, but a new show/episode something I have to really focus on.

Kawasaki disease is extremely, extremely rare. The odds of your DS having it are astronomical. The odds of him having it with only one symptom are basically impossible. He probably sneaked a red ice lolly before bed.

OP you really have got to do something about your health anxiety. It’s not going to get better without support.

I've got red lips today. They are windburned because I've been outside a lot. They are also a bit sore. Has he been outside today?

My DS has red lips tonight because he hasn't drank enough despite me reminding him repeatedly. And handing him drinks.

Googling medical conditions is never a good idea.

My ds had Kawasaki disease as a toddler, your son would have other symptoms, not just red lips.
