Conjunctivitis - how long on antibiotics before you can return em to childcare?

My dd is taking antibiotic drops since tuesday afternoon. How long does she have to be on taking them before she can go back to cm? Her eye has still been a bit sticky today but loads better than it was. Will she still be infectious tomorrow?

I could find nothing about it on NHS Direct

My ds' nursery have a policy of exclusion of 24 hours after you start treatment. So she would be allowed back there iykwim.

Hi, Childminding policy is to exclude until the eyes are clear.

usually until eyes clear then there no chance of other children getting infected!
