I've not been feeling great the past few weeks I've had a bad stomach, white stools been a&e they did bloods and said what they would be concerned about isn't that so that was good however I've now woke up with this huge lump on my arm?! I'm panicking. Can anyone reassure me until I call my doctor tomorrow :(

That looks massive, I’m not sure I would wait til tomorrow.

Is it painful? If it feels hot I think that’s a bad sign.

Id say better safe than sorry.

@anonxc I have exactly the same. I think I've had it about a month, not sure. I first noticed it due to my arm being sore. I carry my 13 month old around and mostly in my left arm, so I thought it is that. Also moved some heavy boxes recently etc. I thought it got better until this evening I noticed it again. Also, this time it is hardly painful, but feels swollen and inside that big lump/swelling seems to be another small hard lump...then again I cannot feel it all the time and I did not feel it in the shower when trying to find it. Have you been lifting anything heavy recently or done anything that may have insured the muscle or soft tissue? Or maybe badly slept on it? I'm getting more worried now as well, but then trying to tell myself that I was carrying my child considerably more in the last two days (they are in nursery during the week), so maybe that? Please let me know what your doc says. Hope all goes well! x

Oh it does look very similar! I don't recall doing anything strenuous or lifting, I just woke up with it and was worried because I've had really awful belly pain and struggling to go toilet for the past two weeks so thought this could be connected maybe but 111 said likely not

OP, do go to GP tomorrow for reassurance. Most of the time its naff all but it never hurts to see the gp .
Good luck

@anonxc were you able to speak to a doctor about it? What did they suggest? Hope you're ok. x

I haven't, I'm going to wait it out and see if it goes as it's done down a fair amount since yesterday, maybe I knocked it??? thank goodness

So weird I checked this morning and it looks to still be there and I actually have one on the other arm in the same place but the other arm is a bit smaller...

I get this from time to time, might be carpal tunnel related? Usually repetitive strain from lifting heavy things like DS. Hope you get to the bottom of it!

Hmm I'm not sure how long they've both been there!

@anonxc what did the doctor think? Mine said it's probably nothing to worry about, but referred me for arm xray. Is yours sore or tender at all?

Doctor said to wait a few weeks and see if it goes, also said it's not in a 'sinister' place so likely nothing serious x

Hi ! Was this ever resolved? Have same thing.

Wireless77 · 06/08/2023 22:52

They could not find anything, both x ray and ultrasound were clear. My symptoms persist though. 🤷

Nat6999 · 07/08/2023 01:04

I've got one like that, I've had scans & it's just a fatty lump.
