Piriton and antihistamine cream

Can anybody help. I have a mozzie bite on my ankle that has swelled up (normal for me happens every year). I had run out of piriton so been using Anthisan cream instead. Hubby just got me some piriton and have taken one but can i use anthisan cream at the same time does anyone know? I know you can't take ibuprofen and use the gel at the same time.

All I can say is I have often used both!

There's also no need to specifically have Piriton:
as the brand is massively overpriced compared to generic,
modern non-drowsy anti-histamines are just as good or better
