older child with dandruff - what can i use?

he always had very bad cradlecap and it's like it never really went away. He is 7 now, I have spent years massaging olive oil in. Not sure if Head and Shoulders would be too harsh??

Anyone any experience of this?

DD has awful dandruff
We use a mix of things - H & S, then some herby thing and then sometimes my really harsh stuff when it is really bad...

We use wash and go for dandruff as it doesnt seem as harsh as H and S, which made dd scalp itch

ah good old wash and go, I ddn't know they still made that!

I have no experience of dandruff myself. Is ther anything which 'cures' it?
