So wondering if anyone has any similar experiences to cut a long story short at 10 weeks pregnant I started having twitches ( I’m now 30 weeks )Googled and obviously panicked thinking it could be motor neurone . Seen a neuro who confirmed clinical exam was fine and it was something called bfs which can start in pregnancy . Anyway since then other symptoms developed which made me worry again - tight throat and what seems like spasms in throat where my throat opens and closes really fast . Even wakes me in night with weird noises . During this time I was started on omeprazole as was also getting burning . Omeprazole seems to have fixed the burning but I’m still stuck with following
lump sensation in throat
throat spasms
stutter breaths ( like when a kid cries and tries to catch breath )
feeling of food sticking in throat and chest
seem neuro again who done another full clinical and wasn’t concerned he said lump sensation was probably globus but had no answers to other sensations and symptoms . Any ideas ? Must admit it is worrying especially being pregnant I feel my anxiety is heightened as symptoms so unusual .
my neuro asked if I had difficulty swallowing and said that would concern him - I said no thinking he meant actually unable but on Google it says definition could be things getting stuck so that’s made me worry more … any advice ?!??
