CKD stage 2

My high blood pressure was discovered a couple of years ago and have been on tablets ever since.
At one of my phone reviews in the since then they did say my kidney function was reduced a bit but nothing to worry about. So I didn't worry or think anything more and that was all that was said
But recently at one of my phone reviews they sent me a letter after saying I had secondary hypertension
And CKD stage 2

Which I was never really aware of before this?
Does this mean I've actually got kidney disease???

I wasn’t the one who originally resurrected it but because you and the previous poster had posted it came to the top of my list. I was then just interested because my eFRG was on a downward trend - but thankfully seems to have stabilised in high 60s - so I was just intrigued in your progress.
