Anyone perimenopausal or gone through early menopause?

Following from Cuty's thread..

My older sister is going through early menopause and I have noticed some changes in my periods over the last few months. They used to start heavy then get lighter - now they seem to try to start for 2-3 days before kicking in proper. I asked sis and shs said that this wasn't the way it happened for her.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Hormones are alright, no other synptoms.

I wish!

My periods before the D&C also did like yours - took a couple of days to get going, heavy for a day or maybe a day and a half, then light.

I did notice they got lighter after starting to use a mooncup, however.

Now it's just gone AWOL entirely and I don't miss it.

Loads of us perimenopausal peeps here MT.

My periods have been like that for about 10 years (I'm 44), also gradually getting closer together and now getting further apart. I think I'm a lost cause.
