Dealing with fatigue

In the last six months I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and functional neurological disorder. After years of pain, I have this relatively under control but I am struggling with fatigue and exhaustion.

Some days I can do it all and I feel wonderful. The next I just want to sleep all day. I'm trying to pace myself but I'm an active person and it's really getting me down.

I work 28 compressed hours for the NHS in a fairly stressful non-clinical role. I then also work self employed so a similar job in the private sector, from home. I spread my private work out as much as I can so as not to overdo it.

Does anyone have any tips on increasing my energy levels, or how to manage needing a nap when I get home from work. Today I've napped on and off between 6:30pm and 9pm. This has a huge knock on effect at bedtime. But I just cannot keep my eyes on or stop myself. It's quite debilitating and upsetting. Also, another symptom of my FND is non-epileptic seizures that occurs only when I'm sleeping or as I wake up. The more I nap the more episodes of this I have and that in itself wipes me out.

Sorry for the long ramble!
