Feel like my and my hubby are always getting I'll lately. In March we both had covid for the first time, then he got a bad cough not long after that wasn't covid. We went to menorca end of may I caught a cough and cold. Now we're both I'll again with a terrible cough. Doesn't appear to be covid though! Anyone else anyways getting ill? I should mention I'm
Also pregnant so I guess that won't be helping?

I also had Covid in march and i've since had 2 quite bad colds (definitely not covid) so i wonder if it's a lingering virus or weakened immune system. I eat well, get a lot of fresh air, take vitamins daily etc and generally look after myself so i do wonder if it's related.

Good point I guess after covid your immune system will be down a bit. Thanks that's made me feel a bit better ❤️

Between the four of us in our family, I feel like one has been ill constantly since we first had coved in March 2020.

Had improved a little bit, but then we all had it again in March 2022 and back to being pretty permanently exhausted and feeling crap.

I know that it falls under Long Covid - although that isn't a truly diagnosable or treatable thing.

Taking it easy and being extremely kind to yourselves is about the only thing I can suggest that works.

We had covid in April, and I haven't ever quite cleared the cough. It comes and goes, sometimes it's urgent, other times just a little tickle.

To the point that I've had a chest x-ray to see of there is any underlying cause. I'm awaiting results at the moment.

I could have written this. For the past 18 months we have had every illness under the sun in this house. Not a week goes by where one of us isn't ill. I currently have the most horrendous cold/flu thing that numerous covid tests say isn't covid (I haven't had covid yet), this is just a few weeks after a sinus infection caused me to get Bells Palsy. Husband has now also caught it from me and is feeling awful (he had covid in March) and daughter is getting over her 2nd bout of covid in a year. She has had numerous stomach bugs, so many colds and coughs on top of the 2 lots of covid as well this past 18 months. I think everyone's immune systems are shot either from self isolating, covid or the amount of jabs we have all had. I just wish it would all go back to normal, I'm fed up of being ill.

I know how you feel I also wondered if the self isolating and mask wearing has caused our immune systems to get weak. I mean it was lovely at the time I don't know about you we went about 2 years not being ill and now it just seems to be one thing after the other. Maybe we all need some multivitamins I don't know. I thought in the summer it would be better but doesn't seem to be.
