Strong smelling urine ?

Hello … just wanted peoples thoughts before I rush to the doctors.

I drink so much squash throughout the day… but during the night time my urine has such a strong smell !!
would this be to drinking to much squash / coffee…. ?

Could be that but I would get it checked. I had UTI and that was my only symptom.

Was also quite a dark colour. I would give gp a phone at least

Try a couple of days with water instead of squash and see if it makes a difference. Some foods or products can affect the smell or colour of urine.

Squash isn't great. There is something called 'squash drinking syndrome' which has appeared in the BMJ. This does refer to kids and growth but it shows the effects of excessive squash can be adverse. It has lots of sugar and little nutrients.

Sometimes I also got strong smelling in urine, but if have this issue for long time, better to seek doctor advices. It may be good for your body health.
