I just turned 50 and my cycles are become insane over the past year and half. In particular, they have become so incredibly heavy with (tmi) huge clots and flooding. Lately I start light, have one regular day and then a massive day where I almost can't leave the house, then it trails on for days on end. I think it's done and than it starts again, Usually by day 10 it is complete. This cycle I thought was done early - 4 days with one really heavy day and then nothing. I had intercourse with my husband and then it starts again bright red afterwards and have had a bright red light flow/sporting since this happened yesterday. I am so concerned that there may be more going on then just perimenopause. Does this sound familiar to anyone? A bit terrified.
