Chronic Diarrhoea and pain

I’ve been having diarrhoea daily for the past couple of years and had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy in 2020 which only revealed some patches of erythematous mucosa in small bowel. The consultant put that down to fast acidic stool and ibs and gave me a month of questran sachets. Since then it’s been awful and I generally feel unwell on a daily basis. I’m 29 with 4 children and it’s very hard as I always feel very tired/drained. Occasionally I’ve had severe pain and vision has gone black, ringing in ears and dripping in sweat when I’ve been on the toilet and then had to lay on my bathroom floor and breathe through it.

On Friday I had one of these very painful episodes but the worst I have had and had to get a nanny to come and look after my youngest as the black outs started and I couldn’t move off my bathroom floor. It felt as bad as when I was in labour or maybe worse. She rang 111 and the doctor was amazing and prescribed a pain relief suppository and I had paracetamol, 60mg codeine and buscopan. Doctor thought it could be gallstones as I had a large kfc the night before and the pain was in the upper centre of my tummy with back pain. She gave details to my normal gp and they rang back in the afternoon but the GP was not as understanding and asked why 111 was called even though it often takes 30-45 minutes to get through to reception. She then sounded reluctant to have me seen and so paramedic at the practice saw me who then also thought gallstones and did some bloods. Bloods mostly came back normal but bilirubin was above the normal range and creatinine below normal.

I briefly looked at tests I had when I had colonoscopy and the liver profile tests have now all raised to the top end of the range and whereas in 2020 they were average and bilirubin was normally low. They’ve put in a request for an urgent ultrasound scan which will take a few weeks. Has anyone else experienced this? I have barely been eating since Friday because it’s still so uncomfortable, feel sick and pain worsens after eating and drinking and have now started losing weight :( there is also family history of liver psc, IBD and gallstones. Doctor in 2020 took biopsies and didn’t find IBD.

Sorry for long post. Just feeling worried :(
