Breast Pain and lumpy tenderness

Hi All, I'm freaking out as i've had breast and nipple pain, and GP said there is lumpiness and tenderness and has referred me to a breast clinic in 9 days time. I'm freaking out, and don't know what to do. Stupidly I keep googling, which is making me feel worse. Has anyone else experienced this?

You might want to move this to health for more responses. GPs have to refer you for anything like this to be checked up. That doesn’t mean it is something serious, more that it needs to be ruled out. It is good that you have a short wait, in the meantime try to put it out of your head as there is nothing to gain by stressing. I know it’s easier said than done though.
