Am 47 so some peri issues although pretty mild so far.

I have had some very very light brown spotting at ovulation time - fairly usual for me but spotting has increased over past few months. Periods still very regular times if a touch heavier.

I spoke to gp who did an internal (fine), smear (clear), swab (bit of thrush) and scan. She thought it was 99.9% nothing and just 'hormones' (she is my age and we had a lovely bitch about how shite being a woman is).

No other symptoms, no bloating etc.

Scan results back and all fine but they didn't visualise everything. I have a wandering ovary which has always been a right bugger and hides up behind my bowel. Scan chappie said to me it was hard to find it and he didn't get a proper look although did see some of it.

Drs message is they were fairly happy it was fine but to come back if symptoms still there which they are but it seems a bit of a non issue? From a chat with Dr Google the fact that they couldn't see it means it is highly unlikely there is anything wrong with it (dodgy ovaries show up seems to be a strong theme).

So tempted not to use up any more time. But is it worth a phone call.
