Is there a 24 hour vomiting bug going around

My partner was sick earlier in the week with nausea and vomiting. He tested for covid and he said that was negative.

I seemed to pick up the vomiting bug he has because I am sick again with nausea and vomiting and fever. I was sick 2 and half weeks ago and had a covid positive result on home tests.

There's a bug going round where I am in the north west x

Don't know if it's the same bug but I had a vomiting bug, then my 8 month old had it for 24hrs and then my partner had it.

We then had my stepchildren for the weekend and the Saturday night my step daughter was throwing up all through the night and Sunday🙈
So definitely something going around at the moment.

I was sick during covid but I wasn't this sick.

My son had it, violently sick from about 11pm for a few hours. Right as rain by dinner time & eating his food no bother by 5PM.

My sister had vomiting and diarrhoea last week, she also had a terrible headache. She did 3 tests, all negative.
She had a slightly sore throat on Tuesday but still tested negative but yesterday she eventually tested positive. I think it’s all connected.

The partner had a sore throat and I thought covid. I thought I would be safe considering I had it.
