Symptoms of chickenpox

ds has a rash on chest - vrey small red and widely spaced little spots. I don't think it's cpox - but there was a notice last week at nursery of someone having had it. he's not at all bothered by them and is fine in himself.

tracyk... how old is ds? my dd had a bad teething rash on her chin and chest which is little red spots could it be that? cpox are quite big to start with when my dd had them she had 2 on outer thigh and hv said it was were her nappy had rubbed (silly cow!!) turned out to be cpox after couple of days looked like water blisters then lots more appeared!!it didnt bother her at all though but she was only 10 wks old!!

or could it be a heat rash?

Oh god nothing like these rashes - v. much smaller - I think maybe just a heat rash of sorts. But those spots on the link are v. scarey - I hope he never gets it!
