Painful zaps behind ear

I'll start with I have a fair bit of ear trouble / infections and order otomize spray from a online pharmacy (as I don't usually have time to attend GPs and lack of appts etc)

Last couple of days I've had painful zaps behind one ear going into my neck every 10/20 seconds, no other symptoms. Painkillers dull it enough to sleep eventually.

Any ideas? Not like any infection I've had before (assuming it is), do I need a nurse/doc or ride it out?

I have that at the moment but I have Covid. Just jolts every couple of minutes. I don't even know how regular that are but noticeable. It obviously must happen with swallowing or something? Something must be inflamed there OP. Try to see a dr I'd say if you have no other issues or infections
