I’m a long time lurker but this is my first post. I’ve already sought medical attention but I’m just feeling desperate for some support or reassurance.
I had the first signs of a UTI on Saturday evening and was passing a bit of blood, but it felt ok the next day. On Tuesday I woke up and it felt much worse but no blood, so dropped a sample in at the GP and got a 3 day course of Macrobid.
However through the night I have been throwing up every 2 hours or so and have a temperature of 37.9, so not quite a fever. Has anyone else experienced this with a UTI or as a reaction to the Macrobid antibiotics?
I’ve called 111 because I’m on immunosuppressants for autoimmune disease and I’m waiting for a call back from my GP, but in the mean time feeling rubbish 😞
