Help!! What has bitten me?! Is it infected???

Hi,

I was out in my garden clearing some wild wild brambles this week and have been bitten on my leg. It feels like it is burning and so angry and swollen. I have noticed today some surrounding puffiness. Is it swollen? Pic attached.

p.s. please excuse my gross stretch marks

That looks like an allergic reaction rather than infection?
Have you taken any antihistamines?

Ouch! Get to your pharmacy asap and show it to the pharmacist for effective advice

@Moonflower12 it feels like a bit because there is the classic bump that comes with W bite.

I think I will pop to the pharmacy!

Jesus that reply was all over the place. Was meant to say it feels like bite!

I think there are some vicious bugs out there at the moment. I was bitten by something during the night and had a massive swelling. I do react to bites, but not normally that badly! Some hydrocortisone cream helped.

My guess would be a horsefly bite. Good idea to go to the pharmacy. Better safe than sorry.
