Does this blister look infected ?

Hi everyone,

Got this blister yesterday when wearing a new pair of flip flops. Has been there since about 8.30am and was uncovered all day yesterday after I got home (about 9am) Was really stinging last night I stupidly put alcohol on it thinking this was ok. Was fine through the night but woke up and it’s really red around it. The fluid is clear that’s coming out and it’s completely open. It’s just very red around it. Should I be worried? I’m also 4 months pregnant.

That looks like a completely normal blister to me. Keep it uncovered as much as possible. Ditch the flip flops - I've never found a pair which don't leave you with rubs or blisters

Signs of infection are:
Heat
Pain
Redness
Swelling

At the moment it looks ok, so as pp says keep it uncovered as wounds require air for healing, but if any of the above indications increase, then take appropriate action.
