Please could you tell me what it was like and what recovery was like? I’m looking to get 3 removed at the same time (paying privately as nhs won’t do) 2 under one arm and one on my hip… not concerned about scars but more about what the recovery and healing is like?

I didn't have a shave. Mine was cut out with a big chunk of my face and dozens of stitches.

Stitches out a week later and it looked horrible. A few months later you'd never know I'd had skin cancer. Mine was a rare one.

Sorry not lately but have had quite a few shaved off. It's really quick, don't feel anything as it's completely numbed.
Heals quickly, no pain after, just Looks pink for a few months, eventually turning skin coloured.

@Soonberaining sorry you had to go through that, I’m glad you came out the other end.

@seaUrchinOne did it bleed? I’m a bit worried about not being able to put deodorant on as one is right at the bottom of where I’d need to put it on! Also worried about the one on my hip as underwear is going to rub on it!?

It shouldn't bleed, you may get a thin scab over it, but it's not a deep wound, although probably best wear something loose to avoid it rubbing.
Stick roll on deodorant around the wound? the Mitchum one is dry in texture, I can imagine a spray might sting.

I had one on my hip cut out last year. It was very very quick. Hurt a bit later on on the day but that was all. Self-dissolving stitches. Don't remember problems with underwear rubbing. There's a small scar but nothing very obvious. It was benign but looked dodgy at first and needed thorough histology to determine that. Very glad it's gone!

Thanks for replying I appreciate it. I’m worrying as I was sent a sort of self care leaflet for afterwards ants taking about talking 6-8 weeks to heal… so I’m worried about bleeding and stuff because of where they are, underarm will constantly have friction for obvious reasons…

I had a mole shaved from my scalp about 2 months ago. Didnt hurt at all! Im a slow healer but only took about 3 or 4 weeks to heal up fully. I kept putting vaseline on it Twice a day so it healed and disnt form a scab.
