Painful walking on heel. Stepped on sharp object.

I stepped on one sharp object yesterday indoors, it was quite big so I pulled it straight out. However because the cut was so deep it hurts to walk on the heel where the cut is now. Anyone else had this? How long does it take to get better?

It wasn’t shattered glass either it was literally one piece of a jagged object possibly from a broken frame that was left on the floor that I stepped on and it was in tact when I removed it but i stepped right on it and after I removed it. It’s not swollen etc just hurts when I walk on the heel where the cut was. Happened yesterday morning.

Tbh I think a cut so deep might need antibiotics. Is your tetanus up to date? Also, you think the piece was intact but if a tiny fragment is still there, that might add to the pain.

don't risk ending up with sepsis or something, please see a doc of some sort. Hope you feel better asap.
