DS2 17 months old is just not right. Crying as if in pain but I can't pin point where. No temp a bit of a cold loads of dribbling (he always dribbles but this is more than usual. No teeth coming. Sounds as if he needs to cough something up in the mornings but again often sounds like this( have been told it's common for a toddler of his build (WTF he's not fat) to have a wheeze.

Wanted to cuddle most of today not sleeping but shutting eyes and growning.

don't really know what to do very vage symtoms but definately in pain, I know a dr would just fobe me off.

any advice?

this norovirus is quite painful as well as V and D?
it's stomach pain and head pain
the stomach pain comes before the vomiting IME

candypandy · 17/01/2008 21:51

and also it doesn't come with a temp at first IME
unless we've had something different ..

no advice, but are you sure about the teeth? DD2 was like this a week ago with teeth, she even had a bizaar sinusy thing going on.

really hope not d and v my 30th birthday tomorow and party on saturday! eeek!

Really don't think teeth ambasol not working and usually gives at least tempory relief. What ever it is it's knocked him for six! he slept through last night which has been unusual of late and hasn't even stirred tonight which again is unusual.

Poor baby boy, hope it's gone tomorow.

mystery solved! Was up all night with my boy, he had a raging temp which I'm still struggling to keep down. Went to Doctors this morning and he has an ear, throat AND chest infection.

What a lovely birthday present for me, a poorly sick baby! I'm 30 today! Hopefully he'll be better tomorow so I can go to my party.

Poor baby!

Hopefully the ABs will kick in soon. Don't forget you can alternate calpol and nurofen so he's always 'topped up' with pain-relief
