Firstly, a disclaimer - I have health anxiety. I'm due to get help for it but there's something that's really worrying me and I'm really hoping someone can help.

My son just told me he blacked out. He's always had dizzy spells. Often after standing up or when he's really stressed. He got checked out at the doctors years ago (just the GP, nothing else) but has been complaining that they have got worse. They possibly have, but he's been under a huge amount of stress recently which is what we put it down to. I did take him to the optician last week. They did a thorough check which put my mind at rest but after today I'm really panicking again.

We've put it down to low blood pressure which runs in the family but his just now is 114/61 which isn't low ... is it? Pulse 64 if that makes a difference. Also measured standing which was 112/56

He did have a huge nosebleed this morning, but he often gets these (although todays was possibly a little worse than usual, but not as bad as some he's had)

(I'm not 100% sure he's telling the truth about passing out. He might have done, but might just have just been extremely dizzy)

Really hoping someone here can advise!

It’s probably the hot weather. His BP is normal.
