Hi folks, just checking if anyone had anything similar, so my gp started me on cerazette 3 months ago due to excessive bleeding/pain during my periods (i am currently waiting for a gynae referral) the first week on it was horrible, dizzy spells like vertigo etc when i moved my head or stood up too fast etc it then settled albeit i was bleeding (lightly) 3 out of 4 weeks a month. Last week the dizziness started again but there was no let up, i can only describe it as being in a constant foggy state with bad dizziness when i am on my feet, i ended up with a pain in my chest and pain up the back of my neck so ended up in a&e where CT, bloods and xrays were done and all was clear thankfully no blood clots or signs of stroke 🙌 i stopped taking cerazette on friday (thurs was my last day) as i am pretty sure thats what is causing this but i am still experiencing the constant fog, if anyone has experienced this how long did it take to settle after stopping the pill? Have a feeling i will contacting my gp tomorrow as the meds the hospital gave me are not helping at all. I have 3 kids 1, 5 & 7 who need their mummy back and not this shell of a person 🙈
