I've got an appointment with GP face to face on Monday after a telephone call Friday. Black little speckles in this mole, none in the others and I try also appears a bit darker. I'm a little worried and would like thoughts before my appt honesty if anyone can help.

Very hard to take a photo as it's under my breast 😂 but here it is. Moles appeared after sun exposure as a teen. I'm olive skinned usually but burnt on this particular hol.

I had one just like that. They decided to remove it and it came back as completely normal. I hope yours is the same.

That looks like it could be seborrheic keratosise which is harmless but it's good to get any moles that you are concerned about checked by a Dr.

PaniDomu · 17/07/2022 14:06

It looks like seborrhoric keratosis. But a very good idea to get it checked out. My melanoma looked like a freckle, but it was the lack of colour that concerned the doctor, and the fact that it looked irregular under a microscope.

Are the speckles new? I have one similar.

I have almost exactly the same moles in exactly the same place. They have been there for years but I will be watching this thread with interest.

I have a mole on my stomach that looks just like your one.Got it checked out and was told it's seborrhoeic keratosis

BigWoollyJumpers · 17/07/2022 14:38

Always get them checked. But as pp's I would guess it is seborrhoeic keratosis. I have lots of these, and as I get older, am mounting a regular attack against them. I have had them zapped off with electricity and frozen off with cyro. I also had some shaved off, they were on my hairline, and the surgeon did a great job, no scars.

Thanks everyone for your responses I don't feel as panic now. I don't know how to reply to individual comments but they are fairly new but maybe last 6 months or so I can't say. It's made me realise I need to check them more often and now I'm obsessed with sim cream
I will update you tomorrow with doctors thoughts xx

Hi op. How did the appointment go if you don't mind me asking?

snowbellsxox · 18/07/2022 19:37

Hi! Gp has taken a look and there's no cause for concern :) not cancerous and that it's due to age! 😂🫠 but please get any checked or keep a close monitor on them if you get concerned xx
