he is very miserable, sleeping a lot in the day but restless and crying at night, cough and runny nose. Off his food and milk although has been gulping down water. He did sleep a bit better last night, I got some smiles and this morn his temp was down to 37.4 but is back up again now and he's not happy. He had his pneumococcal vaccine last fri, could it be related? Went to pedetrician and ahe said wasnt anything serious, just dose him so been giving him 250 paracetamal suppositries (that's what they do here in Italy where we live)
Just looking for advice/reassurance/shared experiences I guess, I hate it when he's ill

Sounds like flu tbh, poor little mite. Our DS1 is just receovering from it too, took him about a week. Lots of fluids, regular paracetamol or ibuprofen (we alternated infant paracetamol then 4 hours later infant ibuprofen then 4 hours later infant calpol and so on), cool baths and lots of sponging down. Don't let him bundle up in a blanket. His temp might spike up n down for a few days but that means he's on the mend.
{{{{hugs}}}}} its miserable
