Do you still get period pains? I seems to be getting them on and off the last few weeks and I'm blardy sick of it (I've had the Mirena Coil fitted for 2 yrs now). Is this normal?

I don't get any symptoms at all - no pain, no PMS, no bleeding. Maybe you are ovulating and getting pain from that - my daughter does, and a friend of mine. But I would get it checked out personally.

I had what felt like horrendous period cramps for a week or so, I went to the dr and a scan showed the coil had slipped and was partly poking through my cerivx causing my womb to contract. I had to have it removed and a new one put in.

I'd say go see your GP and get it's position checked.

OH! Maybe I should go then. Oh crap...I just love internal examinations. NOT.
